Hello, I'm a witch--practice natural magic--do still follow many wiccan customs since I learned magic there, but don't consider myself a wiccan, as it's a religion, involving dogma and (my big problem) inherent bipolarity in everything. I'm studying ceremonial magic, but will probably end up using certain of its rituals and not becoming any sort of postulant or initiate; this is because ceremonial magic (qabalistic) is also religion. (If anyone disagrees with that, we can have a chat about it . I only found this out after a very helpful efriend suggested several books to start with; hoo, boy. She also warned me away from Thelema, and I didn't listen, and she was right. I shall pay closer attention to her warnings in future. I am also studying taoism and the taoist mindset (striving not to strive, in other words ) and learning to reconcile this with spellwork.
I don't use my own journal much. I use it mostly to post to other livejournal group comms. Actually, it isn't even mine; it belongs to a friend who posts things of mine that I don't want to post myself, lets me use it when I like, I let her use my computer, she lets me use her access to this and that and I let her use mine, etc. never for purposes of fraud; we just both have access problems, some of them having to do with privacy. Occasionally having to do with family members (in her case).
